Emergency boiler repair
No heating, no hot water or water leaking? Book a priority visit and we aim to be with you within 2 hours.
Smell gas? This is a gas emergency. Leave the property, do not use switches or flames, and call the National Gas Emergency Service on 0800 111 999. Book with us once it has been made safe.
How a priority visit works
- Add £50 to a repair visit when you book. The total is £140, including the first hour.
- We call you as soon as your booking comes in.
- We aim to arrive within 2 hours of confirming, and will arrive within 4 hours except in exceptional circumstances, such as severe weather or road closures.
- If we do not arrive within 4 hours for a reason within our control, we refund the £50 in full.
While you wait
- Switch the boiler off at the fused spur if it is leaking.
- Put a bowl under any drip and keep electrics dry.
- Use electric heaters safely if you have them, and keep rooms closed to hold heat.
- Note any fault code to tell the engineer.
For other heating and plumbing emergencies, see Southwark Heating emergency call-outs.
