What happens on a repair visit
The engineer checks the boiler, finds the fault and explains it in plain English. If the fix is quick, it is often done within the first hour. If a part is needed, you get the price first and decide.
Priority visits
Add £50 to any booking to make it a priority visit. We aim to be with you within 2 hours of confirming your booking and will arrive within 4 hours, except in exceptional circumstances such as severe weather. If we do not arrive within 4 hours for a reason within our control, the £50 is refunded in full. More about emergency repairs.
Paying
You pay for the visit online when you book, through Stripe. Any extra time or parts are invoiced afterwards. These are the same prices as the Southwark Heating price list.
Price questions
Is there a call-out charge?
No separate call-out charge. The £90 repair visit includes travel, diagnosis and up to the first hour of work.
What if the repair takes longer than an hour?
Extra time is £90 an hour. The engineer tells you before going over the first hour.
How are parts priced?
The engineer finds the fault, then tells you the price of any part needed. Nothing is fitted until you agree. If a part needs ordering, we arrange a return visit.
